GENERAL SUMMARY
This part-time position at CNCC’s Craig campus provides front desk coverage and administrative support for Student Services. Reporting to the Registrar, the position assists with student information system (Banner) processes related to admissions, registration, immunization records, and transcripts. The position also assists with general Human Resources processing and provides support to Student Affairs and other college departments.
As a point of contact for students and visitors, this position answers questions, assists with student paperwork and campus tours, and coordinates with Housing to create student identification cards. The position works collaboratively across the college to provide welcoming, accurate, and responsive service that supports student retention and success.
Limited travel within the college’s service region and occasional evening or weekend hours may be required during peak periods.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Assist the Registration Office and support daily Student Services operations through the following responsibilities:
- Front desk and telephone coverage: Welcome and assist students and visitors, answer questions, direct inquiries to appropriate departments, and assist with answering and coordinating coverage for CNCC’s 1-800 phone line.
- Data entry and registration support: Enter student information in Banner and assist with admissions processes and registration paperwork.
- Student records processing: Assist with processing transcripts, immunization records, and other student paperwork.
- Campus tours and student identification: Assist with student tours and coordinate with Housing to create student identification cards.
- Human Resources and systems support: Assist with general Human Resources processing and use PageUp and other college systems to complete assigned tasks.
- Cross-departmental assistance: Support Student Affairs and other college departments with student paperwork and inquiries, working collaboratively to provide consistent service to the CNCC community.
