Duties & Responsibilities:

Teach didactic and clinical courses as needed in the Nurse Aide program. Mentor and support students in learning. Work in the skills lab to support the application of knowledge, provide clinical instruction, and complete student evaluations (final grades by due dates). Respond to requests made by the program director, work collegially and professionally with others on staff, complete other duties as assigned and provide an outstanding role model for students.

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensure/Certification:
Active unencumbered RN or LPN nursing license in the State of Colorado

Experience:
Two years of nursing experience (one (4000 hours of Professional Nursing clinical experience within 5 years) with at least one year in long-term care facility caring for the elderly and/or the chronically ill of any age.
