Salary Range: The annual salary for this position is $72,000 and may be up to 5% higher depending on relevant experience, education, and certifications when compared to others doing substantially similar work. While all offers are compliant with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, there is no guarantee that an offer will be above this value.
Job Summary:
The Executive Operations Assistant supports the programs and services offered by the Corporate College throughout Southern Colorado.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
•Manages the full lifecycle of Skill Advance Colorado Grants.
•Oversees all departmental travel.
•Standardizes processes and strengthens compliance with State Fiscal Rules and grant requirements.
•Directly supports more efficient and scalable delivery of workforce training solutions.
•Obtains grants for key program milestones.
•Assists in marketing strategies in collaboration with Marketing & Communications Department.
Additional Functions
•Works independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
•Communicates effectively with students, colleagues, and others.
•Interacts professionally and respectfully with students, colleagues, and others.
•Assesses individual and department work processes and recommends improvements.
•Complies with State Fiscal Rules, State Board policies, System and College protocols, and departmental procedures.
•Obtains and maintains proficiency with required systems and equipment.
•Maintains confidentiality of student and employee information as required.
•Completes all required compliance training within the established timeline.
•Serves on committees and other groups as assigned.
Competencies/KSAs:
•Knowledge of laws, accreditation standards, and best practices pertaining to grant management and Colorado State fiscal rules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Ellucian Banner
• Able to lift 15 pounds.
• Able to read and communicate in English.
• Mobility around campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
•Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or Associate’s degree with at least two years of related professional experience
Experience
•Experience in grant funds, laws, and execution.
Travel
•Colorado Community College System offices in Denver
•Fremont or Mancos, CO locations
•Conferences within or outside of Colorado
•Various locations within the college’s service area
Schedule
•State business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
•Infrequent weekend and/or evening hours required
Selection Process:

PERA retirees are not eligible to fill this position except on an interim basis and only in accordance with PERA work provisions.
