FRCC Dental Hygiene Program:

Front Range Community College’s Dental Programs offer a dynamic, hands-on learning environment designed to prepare students for impactful careers in oral healthcare. The college provides both a Dental Assisting Certificate and an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene, combining rigorous academic coursework with extensive clinical training. Students benefit from small class sizes, instruction from experienced dental professionals, and real-world practice in community-based clinical settings and the state-of-the-art Dr. Clarence Holmes Dental Clinic. The program emphasizes patient care, technical skill development, and preparation for national and regional licensure, equipping graduates to enter a high-demand field with confidence and competence.

Job Summary:

As a part-time clinical instructor in the Dental Hygiene department, you provide rigorous, challenging, and engaging instruction based on FRCC curriculum standards and departmental policies. You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop an innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success are your top priority. You utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students’ critical thinking skills.

The program is currently seeking clinical instructors for the following clinic times:

  • Mondays: 1:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Fridays: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Applicants do not need to be available for all of these days or time blocks. We encourage you to apply if you are available for any of the listed shifts. Additional clinic hours may also become available on other days and at other times. As with all instructional positions, you may be asked to teach at different times, locations, or in different instructional modalities to meet the needs of the College.

This position requires a strong on-campus presence and may require occasional travel to all three FRCC campuses.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An associate degree or higher in a related field.

Related Degree: Dental Hygiene (RDH)

Selection Process:

The selection process for this instructor position will be conducted through a competitive, merit-based evaluation of all qualified applicants. Preliminary screening will be based on the completed application package submitted by the candidate.

Salary Information: The pay range for part-time clinical instructors varies. Pay is calculated based on education and hours. Overnight hours are defined as any hours worked between 7pm to 7am. Weekend hours are defined as any hours worked between 7pm Friday to 7am Monday.

  • Associate's Degree: Base Rate $51 per hour / Weekend Differential Rate +$3
  • Bachelor's Degree: Base Rate $53 per hour / Weekend Differential Rate +$3
  • Master's Degree: Base Rate $56 per hour / Weekend Differential Rate +$3
  • Doctorate Degree: Base Rate $59 per hour / Weekend Differential Rate +$3

Geography Instructor

The Biological, Earth, and Environmental Sciences department at RRCC is seeking a Part-time Instructor to teach Geography courses, specifically GEO 1005: World Regional Geography. While the primary need is for in-person classes, online sections may also be available. This position delivers instruction in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online learning environments and is responsible for developing and delivering curriculum aligned with course learning outcomes, assessing student performance, maintaining accurate academic records, and utilizing instructional technologies, including Desire2Learn (D2L), to support teaching and learning. The instructor creates an engaging, inclusive, and respectful learning environment that reflects RRCC's commitment to Inclusive Excellence and promotes the success of a diverse student population. Responsibilities include preparing course materials and syllabi, providing timely feedback and communication, monitoring attendance and academic progress, maintaining compliance with grading and recordkeeping requirements, and participating in department meetings, assessment activities, and other instructional initiatives.
