Salary Range: The annual salary for this position is $57,500 and may be up to 5% higher depending on relevant experience, education, and certifications when compared to others doing substantially similar work.

Job Summary:

The New Student Studio Specialist oversees of the New Student Studio. The Specialist serves as the primary welcoming face and frontline resource for prospective students, incoming first-year students, and their families.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
•Opens and closes the New Student Studio daily.
•Ensures the New Student Studio is organized, welcoming, and professional.
•Greets prospective students, current students, and families visiting the New Student Studio.
•Guides prospective and first-year students step-by-step through the admissions process, application completion, required document submission, and initial onboarding requirements.
•Coordinates all newly admitted outgoing welcome calls.
•Completes outbound calls to unregistered students to encourage enrollment momentum.
•Manages the Recruitment email inbox and voicemails.
•Responds to all messages promptly.
•Conducts outreach or follow-up communications with prospective students regarding upcoming enrollment deadlines and special events.
•Schedules First-Year-Coordinator advising appointments for new students.
•Assists with pre-enrollment appointments, both virtual and in person.
•Collaborates with enrollment management staff to support on-campus enrollment nights, campus tours, new student orientation, and other recruitment events.
•Facilitates check-ins and greets attendees.
•Collaborates closely with other student services departments, as well as academics.
•Triages complex issues and warm-handoff students directly with specialized departments.
•Monitors, organizes, and keeps track of New Student Studio swag inventory.
•Provides Student Navigator support wherever needed.

Additional Functions
•Works independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
•Communicates effectively with students, colleagues, and others.
•Interacts professionally and respectfully with students, colleagues, and others.
•Assesses individual and department work processes and recommends improvements.
•Complies with State Fiscal Rules, State Board policies, System and College protocols, and departmental procedures.
•Obtains and maintains proficiency with required systems and equipment.
•Maintains confidentiality of student and employee information as required.
•Completes all required compliance training within the established timeline.
•Serves on committees and other groups as assigned.

Competencies/KSAs:

•Knowledge of laws, accreditation standards, and best practices pertaining to student enrollment.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Ellucian, Banner, and Navigate.
•Able to lift 15 pounds.
•Able to read and communicate in English.
•Mobility around campus.

Minimum Qualifications:

•Associates degree from a regionally accredited institution
•Two or more years in student recruitment, teaching, or customer service.
•Experience in the college enrollment processes, in-person customer service, outgoing calls, and project management.
•Experience working with diverse populations.

•Colorado Community College System offices in Denver
•Fremont or Mancos, CO locations
•Conferences within or outside of Colorado
•Various locations within the college’s service area

Schedule
•State business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
•Infrequent weekend and/or evening hours required

Selection Process:

Review of applications begins immediately and closes at 5pm (Mountain) on October 15,2026.

PERA retirees are not eligible to fill this position except on an interim basis and only in accordance with PERA work provisions.

Registered Behavioral Health Technician, Adjunct Instructor

Denver, Colorado, United States Academic Affairs
This position reports to the respective Department Chair and works collaboratively with other discipline faculty and the Dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences. The instructor assignment involves teaching introductory behavioral health course via multiple modalities. Teaching may occur in person/on campus or online including nights and weekends and will have the option for additional summer teaching for additional pay. This position requires the candidate to live in Colorado with access to Auraria Campus for in-person teaching, however, may have flexibility to teach online or hybrid. This is not a fully online or remote position.
