Job Summary:
In this position, the Lab Assistant will help instructor set up/run labs for students. Help maintain and prepare vehicles and demonstrations, along with tool room organization and upkeep.
Part-time hours and schedule are somewhat variable per semester and cannot exceed 28 hours per week.
This position does have the opportunity to work remotely occasionally but does require a strong on-campus presence and may require occasional travel to all three FRCC campuses.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides independent support to instructor of record by developing and demonstrating laboratory processes; provides direct training on
program specific processes/techniques. - Monitors students in the classroom/laboratory, assists with developing and administering examinations, grades papers, and provides input to instructor of record regarding student performance.
- Assists with the coordination and delivery of classroom instruction.
- Provides program area support.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Automotive repair certificate.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in automotive repair.
Selection Process:
The selection process for this position will be conducted through a competitive, merit-based evaluation of all qualified applicants. Preliminary screening will be based on the completed application package submitted by the candidate.
