Salary Range: The annual salary for this position is $72,000 and may be up to 5% higher depending on relevant experience, education, and certifications when compared to others doing substantially similar work. 

Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Enrollment Management provides leadership, coordination, and operational oversight for the College's recruitment and enrollment activities. This position also supervises recruitment and enrollment staff while directing daily operations that support prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
• Supervises recruitment, enrollment, and customer service staff within Enrollment Management.
• Provides coaching, mentoring, scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Assist in the development of departmental goals aligned with college enrollment objectives.
• Fosters a collaborative, student-centered culture focused on continuous improvement.
• Assists the Senior Director with strategic planning and departmental operations.
• Develops and implements annual recruitment plans.
• Coordinates recruitment territories, event assignments, and outreach activities.
• Oversees recruitment initiatives targeting high school students, adult learners, transfer students, concurrent enrollment students, military veterans, and special populations.
• Represents PCC at recruitment events, college fairs, community organizations, and educational partnerships.
• Builds and maintains partnerships with school districts, counselors, community agencies, employers, and other organizations.
• Serves as the institutional administrator for the College's Recruit CRM.
• Provides leadership for the College's New Student Orientation program by:
• Assists prospective students through all phases of enrollment.
• Coordinates solutions for enrollment barriers.
• Utilizes enrollment data to improve conversion rates.
• Monitors recruitment goals and key performance indicators.
• Prepares enrollment reports and presentations.
• Assists in developing departmental budgets.
• Monitors expenditures for recruitment activities.
• Recommends resource allocation.
• Evaluates effectiveness of recruitment investments.
• Analyzes enrollment trends and recruitment effectiveness.
• Utilizes institutional data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Recommends process enhancements that improve student experience and enrollment outcomes.
• Supports strategic enrollment initiatives identified by the College.

•Assesses individual and department work processes and recommends improvements.
•Complies with State Fiscal Rules, State Board policies, System and College protocols, and departmental procedures.
•Obtains and maintains proficiency with required systems and equipment.
•Maintains confidentiality of student and employee information as required.
•Completes all required compliance training within the established timeline.
•Serves on committees and other groups as assigned.

Competencies/KSAs:

• Knowledge of best practices in strategic enrollment management
• Knowledge of higher education admissions and recruitment regulations, including FERPA
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Ellucian Banner ERP, CRM software
• Able to lift 15 pounds.
• Able to read and communicate in English.
• Mobility around campus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Experience
•• Three years progressively responsible experience in higher education enrollment management, admissions, recruitment, or student services.
• Experience with CRM platforms, enrollment technologies, and student information systems.
• Experience utilizing enrollment data to drive strategic decision making.
• Experience planning large-scale student events preferred.

Travel
•Colorado Community College System offices in Denver
•Fremont or Mancos, CO locations
•Conferences within or outside of Colorado
•Various locations within the college’s service area
Schedule
•State business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
•Infrequent weekend and/or evening hours required

Selection Process:

PERA retirees are not eligible to fill this position except on an interim basis and only in accordance with PERA work provisions.
