Job Summary:

As a part-time instructor in the Business and Accounting department, you provide instruction in all levels of general Business, including certificate and/or transfer levels. You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop an innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success are your top priority. You utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students’ critical thinking skills.

Course assignments are made based on experience, availability, and the needs of the department; as a result, you may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general legal practice and procedures and have teaching expertise through seminars, programs, paralegal programs or colleges.

Please note: You need to be a Colorado resident on your first day of employment. Also, Front Range Community College is an E-Verify employer.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A related associate degree (or relevant current industry license or certification) and 4000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years.

OR

  • A related Bachelor’s or any Master’s degree with 18 discipline related credits and 2000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years.

Related Degree, Credential, and/or Occupational Experience in: Business, Business Management, Leadership, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Public Policy, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law, or related Business Ownership\License.

Qualifications can vary by course level. CTE Credential: This instructor position will be teaching Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses. In addition to the qualifications listed above, the selected candidate must have a current CTE credential or the ability to obtain one within one year to teach. Selection Process:

The selection process for this instructor position will be conducted through a competitive, merit-based evaluation of all qualified applicants. Preliminary screening will be based on the completed application package submitted by the candidate. the needs of the College.

The Student Records department is responsible to provide effective coordination, processing and maintenance of many student processes and procedures. This unit processes transcripts, grades, transcript evaluations, prerequisite overrides, the College Opportunity Fund processing, No Show reporting, demographic changes to name and social security numbers, correcting duplicate student accounts, residency classification for tuition purposes, coordinates the graduation process and prints diplomas. This department is a source for FERPA guidelines and processing legal requests for student information. This department is responsible for data corrections and state reporting, along with reporting to the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) and The National Student Clearinghouse. This unit is expected to provide excellent customer service to students and staff within the boundaries of federal, state, and institutional policies and procedure.
