The Education Faculty member will be a dynamic and engaging member of the Morgan Community College (MCC) faculty, inspiring current and prospective students to explore the broad field of education and pursue meaningful careers in the profession. Through high-quality instruction, advising, recruitment, and community outreach, the faculty member will promote the Education program, support enrollment growth, and encourage students to prepare for immediate workforce opportunities or transfer to a university for advanced study. Most importantly, the faculty member will empower students to achieve their educational and career goals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master’s degree in education or early childhood education or related field with 18
graduate credits in education from a regionally accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience (or equivalent part-time
teaching experience) in formal classroom environments.
• Must have 2000 hours of work-related experience and be willing to maintain CTE
credentials in Early Childhood Education (relevant to qualifications)
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make
public presentations.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong technological skills and experience using MS Office suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Doctorate degree in education or related field from a regionally accredited
institution.
• Prior community college experience preferred.
• Experience with distance education.
• Full-time teaching experience in higher education.
• Demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Anticipated Start Date: October 1, 2026
Salary and Benefits:
$57,500 - $62,500, based on education, skills and experience. Benefits include health,
life, dental insurance, vision, LTD & benefit package in accordance with Colorado
Community College and Occupational Education System policies. No relocation
assistance is provided.
