Salary Range: The annual salary for this position is $60,500 and may be up to 5% higher depending on relevant experience, education, and certifications when compared to others doing substantially similar work.
Job Summary:
The Coordinator of Nursing Aide provides support to current and potential students in all programing areas within the Nursing Aide program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
•Assists in management of general funds.
•Advises students in the program at all campus/site locations.
•Collaborates within the department in monitoring reporting systems for alerts relating to students' performance and academic progress by identifying those behaviors which indicate a lack of academic success preparedness.
•Coordinates the prior learning assessment (PLA) process for students in the program.
•Collaborates with the advising department in finding potential solutions to assist students in successfully completing their education pathway.
•Coordinates marketing and recruitment activities for the department, including publications and outreach materials.
•Engages with stakeholders, including students, college, and external partners to promote the program and guide the department in maintaining relevancy of the curriculum.
•Supports the department chair in maintaining student records, enrollment data, collecting and interpreting data on certificate and degree progression and completion, and graduate outcomes.
•Coordinates and participates in assessment of student learning outcomes.
•Provides adequate preparation of the course material for all assigned courses.
•Maintains regularly scheduled office hours for consultation or advisement with students.
•Serves as a substitute within the program for absent colleagues for short-term absences as determined by Department Chair, or Dean.
•Supervises and enforces appropriate safety procedures.

•Communicates effectively with students, colleagues, and others.
•Interacts professionally and respectfully with students, colleagues, and others.
•Assesses individual and department work processes and recommends improvements.
•Complies with State Fiscal Rules, State Board policies, System and College protocols, and departmental procedures.
•Obtains and maintains proficiency with required systems and equipment.
•Maintains confidentiality of student and employee information as required.
•Completes all required compliance training within the established timeline.
•Serves on committees and other groups as assigned.
Competencies/KSAs:
• Knowledge of best practices in academic administration, student advising, and/or student services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Learning Management System
• Able to lift 15 pounds.
• Able to read and communicate in English.
• Mobility around campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
•Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Experience
•At least two years of related professional experience in higher education.
Travel
•Colorado Community College System offices in Denver
•Fremont or Mancos, CO locations
•Conferences within or outside of Colorado
•Various locations within the college’s service area
Schedule
•State business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
•Infrequent weekend and/or evening hours required
